The Contech Automatic Outdoor Pet Waterer is an outdoor pet waterfountain that allows your pet to drink water more conveniently when outside. This water fountain eliminates the need for refilling water bowls constantly. This watering device uses sonar sensors, turning on when your dog approaches the waterer and turning off when your dog leaves.

Automatic Outdoor Pet Waterer features:
  • Ultra Sound Based Concept allows waterer to operate unattended and is activated when your pet approaches area. 
  • Operates 24/7 so water is available for you dog at any time.
  • The Emergency Lockout will help control water use if an object remains in front of the WaterDog device for more than 4 minutes.  The device will shut off until object is removed. 
  • The Included Pipe Splitter will allow you to connect another hose or sprinkler to water source without having to disconnect the WaterDog device.
Automatic Outdoor Pet Waterer directions:
  • Pick location for WaterDog (where water spillage is acceptable).
  • Adjust the WaterDog'ssensor to meet your pet's chest height.
  • Simply, install WaterDog device to any outdoor spigot.
  • When the waterer "sees" an object, itslight will flash green letting you know the batteries are good.
  • When introducing your dog, make sure your dog is thirsty (Remove regular source of water and exercise first).
  • Most dogs will understand how to use the waterer immediately but more timid dogs may need training.
  • Maintenance:
    • Daily: Place your hand in front of the WaterDog sensor. A flashing green light ensures the device is working correctly.
    • Monthly: Inspect sensor area to ensure it is clean and free of debris. Wash screen with soapy water.
    • Yearly: Replace alkaline batteries for max. performance.
